Calendar Tips

We are now using the My Calendar plugin in WordPress. We have the no-names pdf getting updated and attached monthly in Word Press and we also try to show the meetings in the calendar. When entering a meeting, look first in the locations and make sure you know which location the meeting is (or add one). Then as you add the meeting, select the location from the drop down list.

If you make a change in a location, you have to visit every meeting in that location and select the location from the drop down list to populate that meeting with the location data (including GPS coordinates).

According to this http://chexed.com/ComputerTips/asciicodes.php we can use the numpad to put in Male and Female instead of MF.

♂ Male Symbol Alt 11
♀ Female Symbol Alt 12

Be sure to put that symbol in the title of the meeting.

Problems?  Ask your local techie or teen.  Still a problem?  Email or Text me:  jfieser@gmail.com or 202-810-3397

History: Our district AA meeting calendar was once in Google Calendars and I passed control of the calendar to anyone with a smart phone and a Google account. It worked OK, but not all that many users would successfully add or correct meetings. Then one day, all the meetings were gone. Now we use WordPress.
